Nowra
Medical Centre

Doctors’ rooms in the Shoalhaven have traditionally operated from converted residences or within office buildings. The Nowra Medical Centre sets a new benchmark for consulting rooms, purpose designed for a specialist area of health care. The building will house an orthopaedic practice and associated consulting rooms in addition to X-ray facilities, providing a consolidated service for patients.

The Requirements

The waiting area and reception have been designed for easy access and the comfort of patients giving consideration to a northerly aspect and protection from the west. The central administration area, records storage and meeting room allows for the efficient management of the practice. A basement car park with a lift to the reception provides secure covered access for both staff and patients.

Architecture is frozen music.

The Solution / Outcomes

While the building is located on the traditional entry to the town centre, it has been designed in a bold contemporary form responding to the evolving character of the street and reflecting the ‘state of the art’ technology associated with a modern medical practice.

Our clients are our greatest reward.
