The Requirements
The in-depth consultation we facilitated with midwifery staff, consulting doctors, Work Health and Safety (WHS) and Infection Management and Control Service (IMACS) as well as consumer groups from Better Births Illawarra and Remember Me - Illawarra Baby and Child Loss Support gave us meaningful insights into the sometimes conflicting issues that form part of the everyday operation of the Birthing Unit at Wollongong Hospital.
The Solution / Outcome
We understand the nature of the work-flow from the many perspectives of those who work or visit the Unit, and look forward to the construction of a well-considered and pragmatic built solution that will stand the test of time.
