Edmiston Jones’ Interiors team partners with organisations to transform workplaces—aligning workflow, amenity and identity to enhance both staff performance and visitor experience. At this Shoalhaven River industrial site, we were engaged to reimagine the 1961 Administration Building originally designed by Peddle Thorp & Walker for the Shoalhaven Paper Mills. 

The building’s defining diamond-shaped roof and strong structural form provided remarkable architectural foundations. Our role was to unlock that latent potential. 

Through detailed briefing and spatial analysis, we restructured the workplace to support contemporary operations while elevating the arrival and hosting experience for international clients. Concept planning, mood development and advanced 3D modelling allowed the client to clearly visualise the transformation. The outcome is a confident, contemporary workplace that respects its heritage fabric while performing to modern expectations—repositioning a mid-century industrial asset as a refined, functional and enduring design classic.
