The Design Process
Commencing with a co-design workshop involving staff and peer support workers from across the organisation, EJ prepared a Concept design with floor plans and a finishes palette that could be replicated across several sites that GPH had to roll out within a short timeframe.
In addition to these traditional Interior Design services, we helped GPH refine and improve their tendering process by developing a standard a package of documents including Specification, Room Data Sheets, Building Services Brief and Tender Breakdown which can be used across their multiple sites.
While each site had its unique qualities and requirements, the package provided a basis on which to make sound decisions during tender comparison, and then into construction. The value of EJ’s experience and knowledge goes well beyond the beauty and function of the team’s designs.
